Highlander Giveaway Hop: Enter to Win Books by Award-Winning Author Sandy Blair!

Welcome to the Highlander Giveaway Hop! Every blog participating in this hop is featuring a book giveaway with a Highlander theme! After entering my giveaway, be sure to hop through the linky below the Rafflecopter form. You’ll be able to move through quickly and enter every contest because each will have only three possible entries. Good luck!

For my giveaway, I am offering two amazing books by award-winning author Sandy Blair. First, I want to encourage you to purchase her books not only because they are great stories, but because Sandy is the nicest author ever! When I sent her an email telling her about this hop and asking if she’d donate a book, she replied almost immediately and generously donated not one, but two books! She is so sweet as a person, and an amazing author, too! Following are the two books she will send to one lucky winner!

THE KING’S MISTRESS

The long way home could be the shortest road to ruin.

The king of Scotland is in a snit, which means Britt MacKinnon, proud Captain of the King’s Guard, has an onerous task: fetch Alexander’s favorite paramour back to the royal bed -- now. Never mind that the crown should be about the business of getting a legitimate heir, especially since England’s Edward I would love nothing more than to seize an empty Scottish throne.

When the handsome soldier appears on her doorstep, Geneen Armstrong has to think quickly. Her twin lies abed in her cottage, pregnant with the king’s bastard. If the barren queen learns the truth, the foolish girl’s life won’t be worth a farthing.

She must somehow transform her graceless, plain-spoken self into her vivacious, talented sister. Then, after the court is convinced she carries no child, use her herbal knowledge to sour the king’s taste for her sister’s company -- for good.

By the time Britt realizes this unusually articulate, ungodly stubborn woman is the wrong woman, tendrils of attraction have already tightened into a bond that will be tested when the king’s unexpected death puts Scotland’s very destiny at stake -- and unleashes an ever-tangling web of court intrigues, secrets … and lies.

Warning: Men in kilts, Scottish accents and a feisty heroine contained herein. A more perfect historical romance doesnae exist.

THE MAMMOTH BOOK
OF SCOTTISH ROMANCE

This collection of 20-plus romance stories will traverse the rolling hills of Scotland, including both contemporary and historical settings, time travel, ghosts, and plenty of fantastic and paranormal elements. Includes Possessing Maggie by Sandy Blair! The ghost and legend of The MacKinnon have shaped heirs’ lives for centuries -- and not for the better. Now a new heir, the ghost and a timeless love will finally put the fear to rest.

One lucky winner will receive BOTH of the books featured above (in print). To enter, simply fill out the easy Rafflecopter form. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only and will end at 11:59 PM ET on Thursday, September 27, 2012.
