Welcome to the Back to the Future Giveaway Hop! Every blog participating in this hop is giving away a book (or books) set in the past or the future. Enter for the chance to win time travel tales, historical fiction, and futuristic novels!
For my giveaway, I am offering a paperback copy of The Book of Time, by Guillaume Prevost.
A statue. A coin. An old book.
They look as dusty as everything else in Faulkner’s Antique Books. But when Sam Faulkner slips the coin into the statue, he’s swept back to Scotland in 800 A.D. -- the age of the Vikings! -- where he must find both the statue and another coin in order to escape. It’s the first journey in an adventure that will take him to World War I, medieval Europe, even ancient Egypt … and a mystery that will end only if Sam can find his father in Time.
Note: I purchased this book at my library’s used bookstore so it is gently used but in very good condition.
GIVEAWAY
One lucky winner will receive a paperback copy of The Book of Time, by Guillaume Prevost. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only and will end at 11:59 PM EST on January 28, 2013. Enter through the easy Rafflecopter form below.

While I love the Renaissance period, I would probably travel to the future -- not crazy about going somewhere that I wouldn't have any freedoms(as a woman) and where the medicine is so misguided. Surely in the future they could give my body a good tune-up! :)

If I had the ability to travel back and forth at will I'd love to visit both the far future (it would be nice to see that it does all turn out ok in the end) and the distant past (Ancient Egypt, the Indus Valley Civ, etc). But if it way a one way trip then I'd be far less adventurous and choose to go back to about 1900 and live my life out through the 20th century. See all the history and cool modern things develop but still have indoor plumbing.
ReplyDeleteid go to the past about seven years ago
