#RockYourBlog August Writing Prompts: What Favorite Show Was Cancelled?

This month, I am participating in the #RockYourBlog Writing Prompts hop. The hosts provide a list of topics for the month, and bloggers can write about them in the order they’re provided, or even out of order. I may not write every day (especially on weekends), but I’ll try to do it as much as I can! If you’d like to join me, just click on the banner above, and it will take you to the page that explains the hop and lists the topics. Plus, you can enter to win ad space and a Starbucks gift card by submitting your post links!

The topic for today, August 2, is: Ever had your favorite show cancelled? If so, what is it?

In 2000-2001, there was a half-hour comedy show on TV called Bette starring, of course, Bette Midler. It was the most hysterical show I’d ever seen! I absolutely adored it. I still remember scenes of Bette getting pinned up by a plastic surgeon and singing “The Thong Song” in her car. I was absolutely crushed when it was cancelled. If it were available on DVD, I’d buy it in a second. Anyone else remember this show? Here are a few scenes to jog your memory!
