FAVORITE HALLOWEEN MEMORY
My favorite Halloween memory is probably my sister’s worst Halloween memory because it was the year that my mom dressed her up as a dining room table. She cut a hole in the top of a big box and put it over my sister’s head. And then she “set” the table by gluing down paper plates and cups, and plastic silverware. She even put a floral headdress on my sister’s head for the centerpiece! It was extremely clever but difficult to navigate. My sister couldn’t see her feet, and when she went to descend the steps in front of our house, she missed a step and went tumbling down the stairs! It was not a pretty sight as she bumped her way down in that huge box, smashing paper cups and sending her headdress into the bushes. Fortunately, she was fine (although extremely embarrassed), and we all had a good laugh afterward!
GIVEAWAY
I hope you enjoyed my favorite Halloween memory, and as a thank-you for getting this far, I’m offering one lucky reader a paperback copy of the book, Desire Me, by Robyn DeHart. If you’re a fan of historical romance, then you’re going to love this book!Year ago, Maxwell Barrett found a map to Atlantis and dedicated his life to the search for the mystical lost continent. But when an alluring woman makes a wager for the priceless artifact, he may have discovered an even greater treasure.
A descendant of Atlantis, Sabine Tobias needs the map to decipher an ancient prophecy. What she doesn’t need are the sparks flying between her and Max. He’s too devilishly charming to be trusted: The fate of her people is at stake as well as her heart. Yet a ruthless killer also covets the map. Now Max and Sabine must race to decode the prophecy’s riddle before this criminal fulfills his deadly mission.

ReplyDeleteMy parents stopped having my little brother and I trick or treat at a very young age. Mostly because we moved out to the country, so you couldn't just walk door to door (and driving to a city is kinda silly just for candy). One Halloween, we were at my grandma's house in town. My brother and I didn't have costumes, but we wanted to go out, so we made up what we were based on our clothes. I had on a sparkly, 3/4 length shirt, so I said Christina Aguilera (it was how she dressed back then!)
